Terms and Conditions of Service

Agreement to these terms is required before enrollment in any program.

1. Definitions and Acceptance

By signing up for our program, you have agreed to all the following terms and conditions. Please review them before enrollment.

  • 'We' and 'us' mean Team Get Tutors Online (GTO), the brand responsible for your online tutoring program.
  • 'You' indicates the student or the student's guardian.

2. Scheduling and Availability

Working Hours

We have different timeslots available depending on your region:

USA/Canada Monday to Friday 12:00 to 21:00 EST

Important: Our team of tutors works only on weekdays (Mon to Fri). Managing a session on the weekend is not possible.

Class Length

Each regular class length will be of 50 to 60 minutes and can never be less than 50 minutes.

If the lesson length is less than 50 minutes due to some reason, the remaining time will be added to the student's next session.

Scheduling Conditions

Your regular session will be arranged at a specific, negotiated timeslot with your instructor.

If you wish to make changes to your lesson time or days, you must contact our support team at least 24โ€“48 hours earlier. We will reschedule as quickly as possible based on instructor availability.

3. Leaves and Makeover Sessions

Informed Leaves & Makeover Eligibility

A makeover (makeup) session will only be provided against an informed leave (e.g., sick leave, emergency leave).

Student Cancellation Rule: To avail of a makeover session, you must give us at least 24 hours prior notice for your session cancellation.

If notice is provided in less than 24 hours, we are not liable to provide you with any makeover for that missing session.

In case your tutor cancels a session, we will always provide you with a makeover session.

Monthly Makeover Limit

Each student can avail of a maximum of 2 makeovers per month against 2 informed leaves.

4. Technical Issues and Liability

GTO Responsibility

Although our resources and tools are highly reliable, in case of any technical mishap on GTOโ€™s side, we will always accommodate you by providing a substitute session.

Student Responsibility

In case there are electricity, network connection, or technical problems from your side, GTO will not be responsible if you miss a class or part of a class.

External Liability (Malware/Data Loss)

Team Get Tutors Online is not responsible if your computing device incurs malware or other harmful elements from an online platform.

We are also not responsible for the loss of your data. It is your responsibility to secure your device and ensure you have antivirus or malware detection installed.

Our Liabilities (Force Majeure)

We are not responsible for the delivery of services in conditions outside our control (Force Majeure). Such events include, but are not limited to, fire, flood, earthquake, war, riots, and the collapse of telecommunication or power infrastructure.

In such a case, we will arrange make-up sessions for lessons not delivered, and we will take reasonable actions to recommence activities quickly.

5. Financial Terms and Service Discontinuation

Pricing Conditions & Payments

All payments for the subscription package you choose must be made in advance.

In serious conditions, we might allow a grace period for payment, but this period is Not More Than 7 days.

Late Fee

Each invoice must be paid when presented or by the due date. In case of any delay, a $2 per day late fee will be charged.

Discontinuing the Services (Student Initiative)

If a student wishes to discontinue the services, they must provide 15 days prior notice by sending an email to support@gettutors.online. Otherwise, refunds are not possible.

Referral Program and Discounts

If you refer someone, you will receive a Referral Discountโ€”a significant, one-time bonus discount on the referred month's fee.

GTO offers various seasonal and off-season discounts, which will be communicated via email or social media.

6. Service Suspension and Code of Conduct

GTO Reserves the Right to Stop Service If:

  • You are failing to pay your invoice by the 7th day of the due date.
  • You fail to attend sessions for two consecutive weeks unless a break has been agreed upon with our support team.
  • You have violated any of the terms and conditions mentioned here.
  • GTO decides that your actions are unacceptable for the continuation of service.
  • You act in a way that threatens, intimidates, or harasses our employees or other trainees.

Tutor Relationship and Confidentiality

We are responsible for assigning your tutor. We reserve the right to replace the instructor at any time to meet the needs of the topic or other circumstances.

Strict Rule: You are not allowed to share your personal contact information (phone number, email, address) with your tutor, nor are you permitted to ask for your tutorโ€™s personal contact information.

Login User Name & Password

Any username and password provided must be kept confidential. You are accountable for all activities under your username and must not allow unauthorized use.

If you suspect unauthorized use, immediately inform the support team to deal with it.

7. Other Policies and Holidays

Privacy Policy

The Get Tutors Online Privacy Statement applies to the information you disclose to us at enrollment or any other time. By registering, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted the Privacy Statement's contents.

Our Holiday Plan

We have announced official holidays for tutor and student relaxation. These are the only breaks we take throughout the year.
